7/23/10:  Updated information on How USA Players Qualify for the January 2011 ITSF World Championships/World Cup posted to Individual Competitions page.

7/12/10:  Cincinnati's World Cup Foosball Challenge.  Held right in downtown Cincinnati's Fountain Square and endorsed by USTSF, this tournament was another heavily (locally) publicized event promoted with tie-in to the FIFA World Cup of Soccer.  Geared towards beginners and rookies, the event provided plenty of exposure for the sport and a great time in general -- all sponsored by the City of Cincinnati and with Tornado tables provided by Mary Moore/IFP.

7/9/10:  Updated list of 2010 USTSF/ITSF Sanctioned USA Tournaments posted.

7/9/10:  2010 Zwack Air Hockey World Championships added to Synergy Partners page.

7/1-4/10:  USTSF/ITSF Sanctioned $45,000 IFP Tornado National Championships (St. Louis, MO.)

6/30-7/18/10:  The DC Foosball Cup.  Sponsored by Modelo Especial, CHASEKickballs.com, Buffalo Billiards, DC United, Washington City Paper and the DC Social Club, this event brought together a mix of local and international players for qualifiers and elimination rounds during each of DC United's pre-game tailgate parties.  More diverse visibility, more diverse media coverage.  Nice poster too.

6/11/10:  Information on a July 11, 2010 FIFA World Cup of Soccer tie-in foosball tournament (USTSF endorsed, non-sanctioned event) in Cincinnati, Ohio we hope will bring more media attention to foosball.

5/11-6/11/10:  USTSF teams with 55DSL/Diesel and Panini for the "Galactic Battle of Foosball," and event garnering media attention worldwide.  Players from seven different countries where the trendy fashion manufacturer 55DSL/Diesel has "flagship" storefronts (such as in NY City) competed for their own country's champsionship, with the winners flown to Italy in June for the finals.  Winners of the finals received a further trip to see the FIFA World Cup live in South Africa.  USA's champions, Kevin Skaltsis (Pro / RI) and Tom Mosher (Semi-Pro / NY) ended up taking second overall in the finals in Italy to the Italian team, bu tit was an outstanding performance in that the Italians had playerd their whole lives on the style of table used for this competition while Kevin and Tom had never played on it before the NYC finals in May.  Just another testament -- much like the ITSF Worlds/World Cup -- to the talent and adaptability of American players.  By the way, the promo posters and the website graphics the 55DSL's marketing department put together are fantastic.  Read more here.

4/26/10:  While not a USTSF Milestone, the following might well be considered a media/publicity milestone for the game/sport of table soccer:  Nokia releases N8 "Foosball Fever" theater commercial.  Performed on Bonzini tables by a group of French "ex-pat" players who actually live in the UK, this video demonstrates some of the most unbelievable trick shots you've ever seen.  Shown in most European markets (where Nokia is the leading camera and cell phone provider), some of the shots are so amazing most people don't believe they're not done with computer generated graphics.  Check them out on YouTube for yourself, where after the main video is over you're given the option to view each shot in slow motion.  Use this in your presentation packages for media and/or sponsors...

4/13-15/10:  USTSF attends the National Association of Sports Commissions Symposium (Columbus, OH) as National Governing Body for the sport of table soccer.

3/3-7/10:  USTSF/ITSF Sanctioned $50,000 Hall of Fame Classic in Las Vegas (Tornado tables).

1/31/10:  Completion of Phase I of USTSF website upgrade (initial build of new layout and graphics format, index, menus/data fields).

1/29/10:  Pictures from 2009/10 ITSF World Championships/World Cup added to Press Photo Bank page.

1/12/10:  USA WINS 4 Gold Medals and 4 Bronze Medals at ITSF World Championships/World Cup!

12/31/09:  Changes to USA Teams and individual qualified participants for January ITSF World Championships/World Cup listed due to some players being unable to attend at last minute (player/team roster waiver approved by ITSF Executive/Sport Commission).
